On November 8, 2024, the 10th Second Member Representative Conference and 35th Annual Meeting of the Ferry Branch of the China Transportation Enterprise Management Association were held in Chongqing. As a member and representative of a new technology company in the industry, Cai Maoyuan, General Manager of Xiamen Hefeng Interactive Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the meeting.
At the meeting, Wu Changli, Chairman of the Ferry Branch of China Communications Enterprise Association, delivered an important speech entitled "Promoting the high-quality development of the ferry industry with new-quality productivity-the ferry branch's 2024 work summary and 2025 work plan", pointing out that in the past year, the ferry branch has actively fulfilled its basic functions of unity and guidance, liaison and coordination, service management, and self-discipline and rights protection, helping the ferry industry to continue to improve its level in production safety, service brand, innovation and development, information technology, etc., and has made positive contributions to the better development and transformation and upgrading of the entire ferry industry.
Looking back at 2024, the Ferry Branch has diligently organized study sessions and strengthened its political and theoretical training. It has fully played its role as a bridge and link, facilitating the healthy development of the industry. It has also effectively coordinated resources from all parties, focusing on key technological innovations in new energy vessels. By building a green transportation system, it has promoted high-quality development in the industry and dedicated itself to creating a new chapter in green development for the ferry industry.
Wu Changli emphasized that by 2025, the Ferry Branch will further strengthen Party building in ferry enterprises, reinforce the Party's overall leadership over ferry reform, development, and stability, and continue to conduct research with a focus on alleviating difficulties and promoting high-quality development. Furthermore, the Ferry Branch will focus on new-quality productivity, strengthen green ferry construction, intensify energy conservation and emission reduction measures to optimize the operating environment, strengthen civilized ferry construction, and strengthen the "Lei Feng Ship Creation Team" to promote new trends in the industry.
At the meeting, Xiamen Hefeng Interactive actively communicated with all member units, listened to speeches from three council units including Shanghai Ferry, Chongqing Car Ferry, and Jiangsu Zhenyang, and four participating units including the 712 Institute, Mian Dian, Offshore Engineering, and Shanghai Construction Engineering, and conducted in-depth exchanges around "smart transportation, green transportation, and digital transportation". Based on the new development stage, they exchanged new trends, new ideas, and new technologies, and looked forward to the future together.
