On October 26, 2023, the 10th Member Representative Conference and 34th Annual Meeting of the Ferry Branch of the China Transportation Enterprise Management Association were held in Suzhou. As representatives of specialized, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises and new technology enterprises in the industry, Cai Maoyuan, General Manager of Xiamen Hefeng Interactive Technology Co., Ltd., and Lin Jian, Assistant General Manager, were invited to attend the meeting.
At the meeting, Wu Changli, the new chairman of the Ferry Branch of the China Communications Enterprise Association, delivered an important speech entitled "Embark on a New Journey, Forge Ahead into a New Era, and Make Greater Contributions to the High-Quality Development of the Ferry Industry", pointing out that the past five years have been a period of intertwined century-long epidemics and century-long changes, and severe challenges and major difficulties coexisting.
Under the correct leadership of the China Communications Construction Enterprise Association and with the strong support of its members and directors, the Ferry Branch has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and diligently organized study sessions, further deepening its theoretical understanding of the industry; focusing on industry needs, more proactively serving member units; and strengthening its own development, further optimizing its daily operations. It has actively fulfilled its basic functions of unity and guidance, liaison and coordination, service management, and self-discipline and rights protection, demonstrating new responsibilities in fulfilling its duties and achieving new achievements in upholding integrity and innovation, and has made new progress and achievements in all aspects of the branch's work.
Wu Changli emphasized that the next five years will be a period of grounding ourselves in the new development stage, implementing new development concepts, building a new development landscape, and unswervingly following the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics and building a strong transportation nation. The Ferry Branch will further strengthen political leadership and enhance theoretical awareness; further enhance service functions and continuously promote high-quality development; and further strengthen internal development to comprehensively consolidate the foundation for development. Under the strong leadership of the China Communications Construction Enterprises Association, with the determination and confidence that the road ahead may be long, but if we keep moving forward, we will reach our goal. We will faithfully perform our duties, make contributions, and bravely shoulder our responsibilities to make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the ferry industry and building a strong socialist transportation nation.
At the conference, Xiamen Hefeng Interactive actively engaged with its member companies, listening to presentations from nine organizations, including Shanghai Ferry Co., Ltd., Zhoushan Strait Ferry Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Xinhang Ship Technology Co., Ltd., and the 712th Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation. The organization also had the honor of speaking on stage as a representative of new technologies within the industry.
In his speech, General Manager Cai Maoyuan, leveraging the conference as an opportunity, engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as maritime simulation, maritime technology, maritime digitalization, and interactive maritime experiences. While drawing on the valuable experience of each member company, he also provided new perspectives, new concepts, and a renewed vitality.
