Exploring New Paths for International Maritime Education Cooperation
On May 12, Hefonix welcomed a distinguished delegation from Naf Maritime Services Group of Bangladesh for an in-depth research and exchange visit focused on the future of intelligent maritime education and simulation-based training systems. The visit highlighted the growing importance of advanced Marine Simulator technologies and international cooperation in maritime talent development.
The delegation was led by Xu Huihua, Vice Dean of the Silk Road College of Zhejiang International Maritime Vocational College, together with MD Salal Uddin Chowdhurry, CEO of Naf Maritime Services Group, and MD Mathab Uddin, General Manager. Hefonix General Manager Cai Maoyuan and Deputy General Manager Liu Yongguang accompanied the delegation throughout the visit and introduced the company’s latest developments in maritime simulation technologies.
During the symposium, Hefonix presented its independently developed intelligent maritime training solutions, including the latest generation of Ship Navigation simulator, marine engine simulator, and immersive ship simulator systems. These advanced training platforms are designed to improve operational safety, enhance crew competency, and support modern maritime education standards. The delegation showed strong interest in Hefonix’s integrated Marine Simulator ecosystem, especially the application of digital simulation technologies in international seafarer training.

Both sides conducted extensive discussions on topics such as international maritime education cooperation, intelligent crew training, and the export of high-level maritime talent. Cai Maoyuan emphasized that as the global shipping industry continues to recover, the demand for qualified seafarers is increasing rapidly. Hefonix hopes to use its technological strengths in Ship Navigation simulator systems and marine engine simulator technologies to collaborate with universities and international maritime organizations in building a global maritime talent training network.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited Hefonix’s core product exhibition center and personally experienced several advanced simulation systems, including the newest ship simulator, high-speed Yacht Simulator, and immersive bridge operation systems. Senior Captain MD MAHTAB UDDIN tested the steering functions and highly praised the realism, responsiveness, and vessel motion accuracy of the Ship Navigation simulator platform. He noted that the Marine Simulator systems provided highly immersive training experiences comparable to real vessel operations.

The delegation also discussed the possibility of developing customized ship simulator scenarios tailored to Bangladesh’s local ports, waterways, and navigation environments. Hefonix demonstrated how its marine engine simulator and Yacht Simulator technologies can be adapted for different training purposes, ranging from commercial shipping operations to high-speed craft handling and inland waterway navigation.
As a global innovator in maritime simulation technology, Hefonix continues to focus on developing advanced Marine Simulator solutions, including Ship Navigation simulator, marine engine simulator, Yacht Simulator, and full-mission ship simulator systems. These technologies are widely used in maritime academies, training institutions, and shipping companies to enhance practical training efficiency and improve maritime safety standards.
This exchange visit established an efficient communication platform between Hefonix, Zhejiang International Maritime Vocational College, and Naf Maritime Services Group. In the future, all parties will further refine cooperation plans and jointly promote a new international maritime education cooperation model based on:
👉 Chinese Technology
👉 University Standards
👉 Overseas Market Applications
Through continuous innovation in Marine Simulator and ship simulator technologies, Hefonix remains committed to contributing to global maritime education development and supporting the connectivity of the maritime industry under the Belt and Road initiative.
