Xiamen Hefonix Technology Invited to Attend the Annual Meeting of the Ferry Branch of the China Transportation Enterprise Management Association

On October 26, 2023, the 10th First Member Representative Conference and the 34th Annual Meeting of the Ferry Branch of the China Transportation Enterprise Management Association were grandly held in Suzhou. As representatives of specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises and new technology companies in the industry, Cai Maoyuan, General Manager, and Lin Jian, Assistant General Manager, of Xiamen Hefonix Interactive Technology Co., Ltd., were invited to attend this grand event.
During the meeting, Wu Changli, the newly elected President of the Ferry Branch of the China Transportation Enterprise Management Association, delivered an important speech entitled "Striving for a New Journey and Making Contributions to the High-Quality Development of the Ferry Industry in the New Era." He pointed out that the past five years have been a period of intertwined global pandemic and unprecedented changes, with severe challenges and major difficulties coexisting. Under the correct leadership of the General Association and with the strong support of its member and council units, the Ferry Branch adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, ensured thorough and effective learning, and further deepened its theoretical understanding of the industry; focused on industry needs and proactively served its members; and strengthened its own development, further optimizing the branch's daily work.
As a representative of new technology enterprises in the ferry industry, Cai Maoyuan, General Manager of Xiamen Hefonix Technology, shared the company's latest achievements in the field of navigation simulation technology from a cutting-edge industry perspective. He specifically mentioned the company's breakthrough progress in the research and development of navigation simulator technology, which has been successfully applied to the crew training systems of multiple ferry companies. Through advanced ship navigation simulators, training effectiveness has been significantly improved, and crew members' emergency response capabilities under complex hydrological conditions have been significantly enhanced.
During the thematic exchange session, General Manager Cai Maoyuan further introduced the company's fully mission sailing simulator. This system can fully simulate the entire process from departure to berthing, including navigation under various weather conditions and emergency response scenarios, providing ferry companies with a comprehensive training solution. Meanwhile, for the specific needs of large ferries, the company's full-mission ship simulator can accurately reproduce the handling characteristics of various ferries, helping crew members master their vessel's handling skills.
It is worth mentioning that, for the special training needs of inland waterway ferries and port operation vessels, Xiamen Hefonix Technology has also developed a specialized boat navigation simulator. This type of simulator particularly focuses on targeted training in narrow waterway navigation and berthing/unberthing operations, effectively improving the operational skills and safety awareness of inland waterway ferry crew members.
During the one-day conference, Xiamen Hefonix Technology held in-depth exchanges with nine companies, including Shanghai Ferry Co., Ltd., Zhoushan Haixing Shipping Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Xinhang Shipbuilding Technology Co., Ltd., and the 712 Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Group. By listening to the experience sharing of each member company, the company not only absorbed valuable experience within the industry but also gained new ideas and perspectives for technological innovation in the ferry industry.
In his concluding remarks, President Wu Changli emphasized that the next five years are a crucial period for establishing ourselves in the new development stage, implementing the new development philosophy, building a new development pattern, and unswervingly following the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics to build a strong transportation nation. The Ferry Branch will further strengthen its political guidance and strive to enhance its theoretical awareness; further strengthen its service functions and continuously promote high-quality development; and further strengthen its own construction to comprehensively consolidate its development foundation.
