Product Advantages

Hefonix-Lifeboat 6000Offshore Self-Rescue Lifeboat Simulator is an immersive simulation system developed for crew lifeboat operation and emergency self-rescue training. Based on a 1:1 model of a real-life ship's lifeboats (such as free-fall and open lifeboats), it simulates the full range of lifeboat operations, including launching, recovery, navigation, search and rescue. It offers the following core advantages:

- Detailed equipment modeling, including various lifeboats (such as free-fall lifeboats, inflatable lifeboats, and rescue boats) and their supporting equipment (such as davits and cranes).

- Supports simulation of multiple launch modes, including free-fall, mechanical release, and jettisoning.

- High-precision port/water area simulations reproduce lifeboat launch and recovery operations under various wind and wave conditions, weather conditions, and operating conditions.

- Integrating a physics engine and force feedback model to enable operational logic training for lifeboat launching and recovery, enhancing the sense of realism.

- Supports lifeboat fault settings, enabling full-process training for emergency self-rescue scenarios.

- Supports multi-person collaboration and assessment.

- The instructor's console supports scenario customization, real-time monitoring, and data review, facilitating targeted instructional improvements.

FAQ

  • What are the main applications of Hefonix's simulator products?

Hefonix simulator products cover multiple fields, including maritime education, maritime safety, military-civilian integration, and scientific research and verification. Core application scenarios include: 1.Crew Training and Assessment: These products meet IMO, STCW, and China Maritime Safety Administration standards, providing practical training in ship maneuvering, collision avoidance, and GMDSS communications (e.g., full-mission ship maneuvering simulators and GMDSS simulators). 2.Emergency Drills: These products simulate fires, groundings, and oil spills, supporting coordinated maritime search and rescue training (e.g., ship oil spill simulators and maritime self-rescue lifeboat simulators). 3.Civil-Military Integration: Their distributed architecture can be expanded to ship maneuvering and tactical coordination training for the Navy and Coast Guard (e.g., Navy Task Force Combat Operations Simulators and Naval Combat Training Simulators).
  • What are the core technical advantages of the Hefonix simulator?

The Hefonix simulator focuses on "high-precision simulation + scenario-based training." Its technical advantages include: 1. High-precision mathematical model: The six-degree-of-freedom motion model covers complex hydrodynamic phenomena such as inter-vessel effects and shallow water effects, and supports simulation of propulsion devices such as fixed-pitch and variable-pitch propellers. 2. Web-based architecture and multi-device collaboration: Systems such as electronic charts and GMDSS are developed based on the web, supporting multi-device access from computers, tablets, and mobile phones, reducing site restrictions (e.g., unlimited-area electronic chart simulators and GMDSS simulators). 3. Immersive visuals and realistic interaction: The 3D visuals utilize realistic terrain textures and dynamic water effects, and ship navigation lights and types comply with the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions (COLREGs). Hardware operating logic is consistent with that of a real ship (e.g., the control panel of the ship radar/ARPA simulator provides the same operational feedback as the actual ship equipment). 4. Multi-system integration and fault simulation: Integrates radar, electronic charts, GMDSS, and other equipment to support simulation of complex scenarios such as co-frequency interference and sensor failures, enhancing emergency response capabilities (for example, the full-mission engine room simulator can simulate faults such as main engine overheating and fuel system leaks).
