* X-band/S-band switching;

* Long pulse, short pulse;

* Super refraction, sub-refraction;

* Fixed range circle, movable range circle;

* Offset display;

* Electronic bearing lines: Two, one with a movable starting point;

* Trial maneuvering: Simulates own ship's maneuvering and displays the future position of own ship and all tracked targets;

* Automatic and manual registration: Tracks at least 20 targets within a range of 0.3 to 32 nautical miles;

* Velocity vectors: Switches between true motion vector and relative motion vector, with adjustable vector duration;

* Target vessel data display: Target vessel number, range, bearing, CPA, TCPA, true heading, true speed (relative heading and relative speed can be displayed);

* CPA and TCPA can be set as needed, with PPC and PAD displays available;

* Alarms: Collision risk, target loss, target intrusion, target track change, dragging anchor, operational error, etc.; alarms include sound, light, symbol and text;

* Historical track display: Displays five historical points for each tracked target, with each point interval ranging from 1 to 12 minutes;

* Warning circle setting: The operator sets a warning circle. When a target enters the warning circle, the intruding target is automatically registered. - Supports "paperless" radar plotting;

- Supports radar data generation for global waters;

Based on the implementation of these radar functions, this product can be used for:

- Crew competency training;

- Ship command and tactical simulations;

- Scientific research and equipment verification;

- Maritime emergency drills.

To enhance the realism of training, especially the operational feel, this product comes with a control panel that integrates the radar control module (including 29 components such as buttons, knobs, and indicators), a trackball mouse, and a 68-key keyboard. Operational feedback is consistent with actual shipboard equipment, shortening the transition period from simulator to onboard operations.

FAQ

  • What are the main applications of Hefonix's simulator products?

    Hefonix simulator products cover multiple fields, including maritime education, maritime safety, military-civilian integration, and scientific research and verification. Core application scenarios include: 1.Crew Training and Assessment: These products meet IMO, STCW, and China Maritime Safety Administration standards, providing practical training in ship maneuvering, collision avoidance, and GMDSS communications (e.g., full-mission ship maneuvering simulators and GMDSS simulators). 2.Emergency Drills: These products simulate fires, groundings, and oil spills, supporting coordinated maritime search and rescue training (e.g., ship oil spill simulators and maritime self-rescue lifeboat simulators). 3.Civil-Military Integration: Their distributed architecture can be expanded to ship maneuvering and tactical coordination training for the Navy and Coast Guard (e.g., Navy Task Force Combat Operations Simulators and Naval Combat Training Simulators).
  • What are the core technical advantages of the Hefonix simulator?

    The Hefonix simulator focuses on "high-precision simulation + scenario-based training." Its technical advantages include: 1. High-precision mathematical model: The six-degree-of-freedom motion model covers complex hydrodynamic phenomena such as inter-vessel effects and shallow water effects, and supports simulation of propulsion devices such as fixed-pitch and variable-pitch propellers. 2. Web-based architecture and multi-device collaboration: Systems such as electronic charts and GMDSS are developed based on the web, supporting multi-device access from computers, tablets, and mobile phones, reducing site restrictions (e.g., unlimited-area electronic chart simulators and GMDSS simulators). 3. Immersive visuals and realistic interaction: The 3D visuals utilize realistic terrain textures and dynamic water effects, and ship navigation lights and types comply with the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions (COLREGs). Hardware operating logic is consistent with that of a real ship (e.g., the control panel of the ship radar/ARPA simulator provides the same operational feedback as the actual ship equipment). 4. Multi-system integration and fault simulation: Integrates radar, electronic charts, GMDSS, and other equipment to support simulation of complex scenarios such as co-frequency interference and sensor failures, enhancing emergency response capabilities (for example, the full-mission engine room simulator can simulate faults such as main engine overheating and fuel system leaks).
  • What supporting services does Hefonix provide?
