Product Configuration Simulation Unit

Hefonix-SAR 6000 VTS search and rescue operation simulator complies with the requirements for pre-job training of VTS operators in accordance with the Manila Amendments to the STCW Convention and IMO Resolution A.857(20), and meets the requirements for simulation exercises in the International Aeronautical and Maritime Search and Rescue Manual. It can flexibly configure the following simulation units according to needs:

- VTS operator station

The Hefonix-VTS 6000 VTS operator station integrates real-time data reception and processing, traffic flow simulation, and information display. It can fully present the visual scene when the traffic control center implements traffic control, covering the entire process of VTS operation training.

- Ship handling simulator

In addition to the VTS operator station, multiple small Hefonix 6000 ship maneuvering simulators can be integrated to simulate distressed ships, rescue ships, drone reconnaissance, etc., filling the missing reconnaissance and search and rescue links in the training process and providing a more immersive communication and traffic environment for VTS operators and navigators.

Search and Rescue Operations Simulator

- Instructor Station

The Instructor Station is designed with user experience in mind, providing a powerful and efficient tool that allows for quick setup of training scenarios, control of training flow, and process evaluation. It also allows for the rapid creation of individual or team missions, enabling customized training.

-Simulation Training Area

A comprehensive training area scenario library integrates data such as nautical charts, radar, and AIS, enabling visual representation of port, weather, ship models, navigational aids, and buoys, meeting the needs of rapid rescue scenario configuration.

-AIS

In addition to radar, the VTS Search and Rescue Operations Simulator can also be equipped with an AIS simulation system, recreating the interface and operational logic 1:1 with the real equipment, meeting the training needs of VTS Search and Rescue Operations.

Vessel Traffic Service Simulator

Hefonix-SAR 6000 VTS Search and Rescue Operations Simulator allows for skill training and job suitability training for VTS operators. It also expands training into business modules such as search and rescue plan development, analysis, and decision-making, significantly reducing search and rescue training costs and improving VTS operators' emergency response coordination capabilities.

FAQ

  • What are the main applications of Hefonix's simulator products?

Hefonix simulator products cover multiple fields, including maritime education, maritime safety, military-civilian integration, and scientific research and verification. Core application scenarios include: 1.Crew Training and Assessment: These products meet IMO, STCW, and China Maritime Safety Administration standards, providing practical training in ship maneuvering, collision avoidance, and GMDSS communications (e.g., full-mission ship maneuvering simulators and GMDSS simulators). 2.Emergency Drills: These products simulate fires, groundings, and oil spills, supporting coordinated maritime search and rescue training (e.g., ship oil spill simulators and maritime self-rescue lifeboat simulators). 3.Civil-Military Integration: Their distributed architecture can be expanded to ship maneuvering and tactical coordination training for the Navy and Coast Guard (e.g., Navy Task Force Combat Operations Simulators and Naval Combat Training Simulators).
  • What are the core technical advantages of the Hefonix simulator?

The Hefonix simulator focuses on "high-precision simulation + scenario-based training." Its technical advantages include: 1. High-precision mathematical model: The six-degree-of-freedom motion model covers complex hydrodynamic phenomena such as inter-vessel effects and shallow water effects, and supports simulation of propulsion devices such as fixed-pitch and variable-pitch propellers. 2. Web-based architecture and multi-device collaboration: Systems such as electronic charts and GMDSS are developed based on the web, supporting multi-device access from computers, tablets, and mobile phones, reducing site restrictions (e.g., unlimited-area electronic chart simulators and GMDSS simulators). 3. Immersive visuals and realistic interaction: The 3D visuals utilize realistic terrain textures and dynamic water effects, and ship navigation lights and types comply with the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions (COLREGs). Hardware operating logic is consistent with that of a real ship (e.g., the control panel of the ship radar/ARPA simulator provides the same operational feedback as the actual ship equipment). 4. Multi-system integration and fault simulation: Integrates radar, electronic charts, GMDSS, and other equipment to support simulation of complex scenarios such as co-frequency interference and sensor failures, enhancing emergency response capabilities (for example, the full-mission engine room simulator can simulate faults such as main engine overheating and fuel system leaks).
