Product Details

The VR Virtual Driving Simulator uses a real-world ship cockpit as a prototype, creating a full-scale 3D virtual cockpit environment. The included 3D models include:

- Steering console (including steering wheel and steering gear control panel);

- Integrated control console (including engine telegraph, main engine remote control panel, etc.);

- Navigation light and deck light control panel;

- Chart area and radio station area models;

- Chart table (including sub-clock, barometer, paper charts, and selected nautical materials);

- Radio station (including various GMDSS equipment);

- Modeling of various bridge instruments, including information displays and dial lighting. Key instruments include: rudder angle indicator, main engine tachometer, wind direction and speed indicator, three-sided rudder angle indicator, and gyrocompass heading indicator.

VR Ship Engine Room Simulator

In addition to a full-scale 3D virtual cockpit model, the VR virtual driving simulator also features a 3D scene database and a six-degree-of-freedom ship motion model database for various ports and waterways domestically and internationally.

- The scene includes realistically textured coastlines, dock buildings, navigational aids (lighthouses, buoys), and dynamic weather effects (sunny, rainy, foggy, and snowy). Wave height and period are linked to wind speed in real time, and lighting changes automatically between day and night, creating a highly immersive experience.

- Based on the principles of fluid mechanics, the ship's motion mathematical model supports six degrees of freedom (roll, pitch, heave, heading, speed, and yaw) motion simulation. It accurately replicates complex hydrodynamic phenomena such as shallow water effects, bank effects, inter-vessel effects, and propeller deflection forces, with dynamic responses consistent with those of a real ship.

simulated training

Hefonix-VR Cockpit 6000 VR virtual driving simulator allows you to achieve the following simulated training:

- Cockpit equipment familiarization: Use VR roaming to familiarize yourself with the layout and functions of equipment such as the ship's engine telegraph, steering wheel, and radar, replacing traditional teaching aids and reducing the cost of physical equipment. - Route Planning Training:

- Route planning and navigation: Design and navigate routes in virtual waters to understand the effects of wind and current on vessel movement, and practice fundamental skills such as course keeping and maneuvering.

Steering Command and Helming: Trainees respond to helm commands, practice steering, and develop accurate helming skills.

- Special Scenario Training: Training in complex scenarios such as fog navigation and narrow channel navigation improves crew members' navigation skills in low-visibility and confined waters.

FAQ

  • What are the main applications of Hefonix's simulator products?

    Hefonix simulator products cover multiple fields, including maritime education, maritime safety, military-civilian integration, and scientific research and verification. Core application scenarios include: 1.Crew Training and Assessment: These products meet IMO, STCW, and China Maritime Safety Administration standards, providing practical training in ship maneuvering, collision avoidance, and GMDSS communications (e.g., full-mission ship maneuvering simulators and GMDSS simulators). 2.Emergency Drills: These products simulate fires, groundings, and oil spills, supporting coordinated maritime search and rescue training (e.g., ship oil spill simulators and maritime self-rescue lifeboat simulators). 3.Civil-Military Integration: Their distributed architecture can be expanded to ship maneuvering and tactical coordination training for the Navy and Coast Guard (e.g., Navy Task Force Combat Operations Simulators and Naval Combat Training Simulators).
  • What are the core technical advantages of the Hefonix simulator?

    The Hefonix simulator focuses on "high-precision simulation + scenario-based training." Its technical advantages include: 1. High-precision mathematical model: The six-degree-of-freedom motion model covers complex hydrodynamic phenomena such as inter-vessel effects and shallow water effects, and supports simulation of propulsion devices such as fixed-pitch and variable-pitch propellers. 2. Web-based architecture and multi-device collaboration: Systems such as electronic charts and GMDSS are developed based on the web, supporting multi-device access from computers, tablets, and mobile phones, reducing site restrictions (e.g., unlimited-area electronic chart simulators and GMDSS simulators). 3. Immersive visuals and realistic interaction: The 3D visuals utilize realistic terrain textures and dynamic water effects, and ship navigation lights and types comply with the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions (COLREGs). Hardware operating logic is consistent with that of a real ship (e.g., the control panel of the ship radar/ARPA simulator provides the same operational feedback as the actual ship equipment). 4. Multi-system integration and fault simulation: Integrates radar, electronic charts, GMDSS, and other equipment to support simulation of complex scenarios such as co-frequency interference and sensor failures, enhancing emergency response capabilities (for example, the full-mission engine room simulator can simulate faults such as main engine overheating and fuel system leaks).
  • What supporting services does Hefonix provide?
