Product Details

Hefonix-DP 6000 offers high scalability and adaptability to diverse training requirements. With this simulator, crew members and DP operators can:

- Learn and repeatedly practice standard offshore procedures;

- Practice effective communication during operations and provide best-practice training scenarios;

- Enhance teamwork and understanding;

- Cultivate a sense of responsibility and emergency coordination;

- Repeatedly practice decision-making under critical circumstances and enhance emergency response capabilities;

- Repeated high-level operational training prior to missions to familiarize themselves with the mission environment and ensure safe and efficient operations. Based on the above training needs, the Offshore Dynamic Positioning Simulator aims to provide a fully functional marine engineering operation simulation platform. Its development focuses on the following key functional areas

-High-Precision Dynamic Positioning Control Simulation

*Simulates a ship's position-keeping, automatic track tracking, and coordinated operational control in complex marine environments, closely reproducing the operational logic of the ship's DP system.

*Integrated multi-sensor data fusion simulation: Including DGPS, fiber-optic compass, wind speed and direction sensors, etc., to simulate faults such as drift and signal loss.

-Six-Degree-of-Freedom Motion and Environment Coupling Model

*Builds a mathematical model of ship motion based on actual ship data, accurately simulating the dynamic effects of waves, currents, and wind on the hull, and supporting real-time output of six-degree-of-freedom motion parameters such as roll, pitch, and heave.

*Thrust System Dynamic Response Simulation: Simulates the thrust distribution logic of propulsion equipment such as CPP propellers and thrusters, supporting single/multi-thruster failures and redundant switching.

- Integrated simulation of complex operational scenarios

* Deep integration with the offshore engineering module: Supports typical offshore operational processes such as platform supply vessel (PSV) material transfer, drilling vessel positioning operations, and underwater construction support.

* Emergency faults and extreme sea condition settings: Customized  scenarios such as thruster failure combinations and extreme weather conditions train crew members' emergency response capabilities throughout the entire "loss-alarm-recovery" process.

- Supports full-process data monitoring and evaluation.

In addition to the above key features, the Hefonix-DP 6000 Offshore Dynamic Positioning Simulator also supports offshore engineering operation simulations, simulating high-precision positioning operations such as offshore wind turbine installation and submarine pipeline laying. This allows verification of operational feasibility under the coupled "vessel-equipment-environment" system, enabling optimization and feasibility verification of construction plans.dynamic positioning simulator

FAQ

  • What are the main applications of Hefonix's simulator products?

    Hefonix simulator products cover multiple fields, including maritime education, maritime safety, military-civilian integration, and scientific research and verification. Core application scenarios include: 1.Crew Training and Assessment: These products meet IMO, STCW, and China Maritime Safety Administration standards, providing practical training in ship maneuvering, collision avoidance, and GMDSS communications (e.g., full-mission ship maneuvering simulators and GMDSS simulators). 2.Emergency Drills: These products simulate fires, groundings, and oil spills, supporting coordinated maritime search and rescue training (e.g., ship oil spill simulators and maritime self-rescue lifeboat simulators). 3.Civil-Military Integration: Their distributed architecture can be expanded to ship maneuvering and tactical coordination training for the Navy and Coast Guard (e.g., Navy Task Force Combat Operations Simulators and Naval Combat Training Simulators).
  • What are the core technical advantages of the Hefonix simulator?

    The Hefonix simulator focuses on "high-precision simulation + scenario-based training." Its technical advantages include: 1. High-precision mathematical model: The six-degree-of-freedom motion model covers complex hydrodynamic phenomena such as inter-vessel effects and shallow water effects, and supports simulation of propulsion devices such as fixed-pitch and variable-pitch propellers. 2. Web-based architecture and multi-device collaboration: Systems such as electronic charts and GMDSS are developed based on the web, supporting multi-device access from computers, tablets, and mobile phones, reducing site restrictions (e.g., unlimited-area electronic chart simulators and GMDSS simulators). 3. Immersive visuals and realistic interaction: The 3D visuals utilize realistic terrain textures and dynamic water effects, and ship navigation lights and types comply with the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions (COLREGs). Hardware operating logic is consistent with that of a real ship (e.g., the control panel of the ship radar/ARPA simulator provides the same operational feedback as the actual ship equipment). 4. Multi-system integration and fault simulation: Integrates radar, electronic charts, GMDSS, and other equipment to support simulation of complex scenarios such as co-frequency interference and sensor failures, enhancing emergency response capabilities (for example, the full-mission engine room simulator can simulate faults such as main engine overheating and fuel system leaks).
