From November 15th to 18th, 2024, the 2024 World Maritime Equipment Conference was held in Fuzhou, the capital of China. Concurrently, the 2024 Second China Marine Equipment Expo was held. Over 7,000 pieces of marine technology equipment and innovative achievements led visitors to pursue their dreams in the deep blue, showcasing my country's new momentum and vitality in marine science and technology.
At the meeting, Xiamen Hefeng Interactive Technology Co., Ltd., a cooperative enterprise of Xiamen Ocean Vocational and Technical College, brought its "innovative" product - the cabin MR virtual disassembly and assembly training system to the expo, and exhibited it together with the college's innovatively developed offshore small unmanned boat experimental platform, the new intelligent fish sorter, the ancient ship model made by the college's specially hired Chinese arts and crafts master Mr. Feng Yuping, and the college's cooperative enterprise Broad Vision's outdoor heavy industrial camera at booth 5T22B.
During the exhibition, the cabin MR virtual disassembly and assembly training system brought by our company attracted the attention of many exhibitors. There was an endless stream of people who wanted to experience this "innovative" product, and even long queues formed in the exhibition hall. The exhibition site was very lively.
This virtual disassembly and assembly training system, developed based on mixed reality (MR), collaborative interaction algorithms, artificial intelligence theory and other technologies, can not only meet the needs of cultivating high-quality, application-oriented technical and skilled talents in marine engineering, but also help young people understand the cabin structure through highly immersive three-dimensional cabin virtual displays, thereby stimulating their interest in sailing.
This exhibition not only showcased the company's achievements in marine science and technology, but also served as a vivid example of stimulating the vitality of university-enterprise collaboration and promoting the deep integration of industry, academia, and research.
