This fishing vessel engine simulator is based on the technology of a 61.8-meter lighted purse seine fishing vessel and a 500-ton public service research vessel. Using the "Yueyu XXX" and "China Marine Surveillance XXX" vessels as reference models, the research and development and design process strictly adhered to the "Regulations for the Mandatory Inspection of Fishing Vessels 2000" and the "Regulations for the Construction of Steel Ocean Fishing Vessels 2005," resulting in a professional engine simulator that is state-of-the-art in China. The simulator mother vessel features a dual main engine configuration, equipped with a reduction gearbox, twin variable-pitch propellers, and dual hydraulic steering gears.

This fishing vessel engine simulator demonstrates excellence in overall design, powerplant, and construction technology, reaching both domestic and international standards. It fully complies with the following relevant specifications:

1. It meets the "competency assessment items" and "capability for continuous demonstration of proficiency" requirements of the IMO International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW 78/95).
2) Meet the requirements for "Automated Power Plant Training" and "Automated System Training" as stipulated in the "Implementation Measures for the Transitional Provisions of the STCW Convention 78/95" issued by the Chinese Maritime Safety Administration.
3) Comply with the "Rules for the Examination, Assessment and Issuance of Certificates of Competency for Seafarers" and the corresponding "Engine Simulator Training Assessment Specifications."
